How Healing Works

Renewing the Mind

Cognitive Behavioral Techniques - Our thoughts, when negative, have the tendency to make us victims when we believe the causes of those thoughts result from something beyond our control. When we change the way we think about things, as well as our basic values and beliefs, we experience lasting changes in our mood, outlook, and well-being.

Supporting the Body

Nutrition -Nourishing the body is essential to clearing the mind. You will receive guidance on foods which lower inflammation and facilitate mental healing, as well as delicious recipes, and how to make meal prep simple and efficient.

Exercise - Your mind and body are deeply interconnected, so facilitating mental healing requires that we incorporate regular exercise. Coaching includes guidance on how to use exercise, based on your ability, to facilitate rapid healing.

Hydrotherapy - Water therapy (or hydrotherapy), including hot and cold treatments, have been used to increase blood flow within the body and to the brain. These help your mind wake up and improve more rapidly. Guidance on how to use various hydrotherapies will be provided, according to your needs and conditions.

The Word - When used effectively, the Scriptures enhance your entire brain, including the frontal lobe. You will be guided on how to use the Word of God improve your mood, thoughts and how you function. Exercises and other resources are also included.
